Summary:

The Senior Training Specialist designs and delivers training aligned with the organization’s learning strategy, ensuring employees and BPO partners have the skills to support Abbott ADC products, technical troubleshooting, compliance/complaint handling, customer service excellence, and quality assurance behaviors.

This role partners with SMEs across Abbott Diabetes Care to build and manage global Customer Experience training programs delivered through document-based, video/audio, and interactive formats.

qualifications:

• Portfolio demonstrating instructional design expertise (required for consideration).
• 5+ years’ experience developing learning content across multiple formats.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience).
• LMS administration experience.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Articulate 360/Rise 360, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with call center technologies or CRM systems in a quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver learning solutions (eLearning, ILT, virtual sessions, workshops, TTT, OJT) based on training needs and stakeholder input.
• Manage global LMS structure, compliance tracking, and version control.
• Develop assessments and evaluations to measure comprehension and program effectiveness.
• Ensure training compliance and documentation across regional and BPO Customer Service teams.
• Partner with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Manage external vendors supporting content development.
• Apply continuous improvement to training materials, processes, and systems.

Preferred:

• Allego LMS experience.
• Healthcare or medical device industry background.
• Master’s degree or PMP certification.
