About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support Abbott/Acelis Connected Health. In this role, you will receive inbound calls from customers regarding supply orders or technical/customer support for Neuro and Cardio MEMS medical devices. These devices may include implantable or wearable equipment used to monitor or treat heart failure or neurological conditions.

The ideal candidate will maintain accurate patient records, verify account and product information, and communicate effectively with both customers and internal support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update patient records, verifying account and product information.
  • Communicate prescription revision requests to clinic support teams.
  • Receive and process new referrals for out-of-warranty medical equipment.
  • Facilitate equipment replacements and coordinate customer returns in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Schedule annual preventative maintenance appointments for patients.
  • Ensure all activities follow established guidelines for handling medical device equipment.
  • Coordinate customer returns and replacements while adhering to current standards and protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple systems and websites
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet and maintain departmental KPIs

Preferred:

  • 2–3 years of call center experience
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Spanish-speaking candidates (preferred but not required)
