Title: Project Manager

Location: Alameda, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in administering validated content management systems, preferably Veeva Vault, within a regulated environment. This role involves full-cycle project management, technical administration, stakeholder communication, and change control within a quality-driven organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful planning, validation, and deployment.
  • Administer and maintain a validated content management system (CMS), with a focus on Veeva Vault.
  • Configure and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Process and manage change requests across multiple workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system workflows.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to leadership and project teams.
  • Train stakeholders and end-users on system updates and process changes.
  • Deliver projects within established timelines and meet key performance metrics.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the medical device or other regulated industries.
  • Proven experience managing and deploying projects involving quality systems.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems in a validated environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic technical or programming experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a technical, scientific, or engineering discipline).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Veeva Vault Administrator.
  • Veeva Vault Certification (strongly preferred).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of document control and quality content management best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
