Job Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects, from beginning to end, with accountability for project execution. Demonstrate stewardship and provide leadership to meet Division strategies and business objectives (CJR). Deliver project excellence by incorporating best practices in project management to meet and or exceed customer needs (CJR). Identify process issues and recommend improvements to senior leaders. Recommend and implement PM strategies and enhancements to improve efficiency (CJR). Act as primary point of contact for project reporting & updates (CJR). Provide support as required to Portfolio Management (CJR). Assist in idea capture and cataloging activities of new ideas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans to meet defined deliverables and success criteria.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead project assessments and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business planning, brand planning, and S&OP.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and dependencies while ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and maintain clear priorities across all team members.
  • Create and deliver presentations for project reviews and stakeholder updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage data related to project deliverables using PM software.
  • Provide project status reporting and support portfolio management activities.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives and support the capture and cataloging of new ideas.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project management role, preferably within healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to adapt to change, manage ambiguity, and work effectively under deadline pressure.
  • Experience with project tracking tools and platforms (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Understanding of business applications and strategy implementation.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage cross-functional project teams across various departments.
  • Ensure effective and efficient resource utilization to drive brand growth and innovation.
  • Oversee projects involving new product development, line extensions, reformulations, and packaging.
  • Track and report project budgets and expenditures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of project issues and risks to senior leadership.

Additional Information:

This position involves managing small to large-scale, mission-critical projects that may span multiple business units. You’ll be expected to drive collaboration, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and deliver high-quality results across the full project lifecycle.
