Title: Sr. Graphic Designer

Location: Abbott Park, IL

100% Remote

Responsibilities:

• This position involves working 15 to 18 hours per week, averaging 3 to 4 hours per day, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite in North Chicago, IL.
• This position is responsible for curating and developing graphic elements for use across Employee Communications channels globally to include multiple digital platforms.
• This person will also help with the layout of materials (PowerPoint, program guidelines) in compliance with brand guidelines.
• Establish strong knowledge of Abbott brand guidelines and use of the asset library
• Curation and resizing of images to accompany social media posts for the employee advocacy program and for use on our intranet SharePoint platform
• Edit videos for use in social posts, on the internet and on monitor screens
• Design and curate brand-aligned content for use in digital screens across Abbott sites globally
• Create and produce headers and banner ads for Abbott intranet that promote key programs or products
• Become knowledgeable in the digital content management system platform, FirstUp, updating and uploading assets as requested
• Create templates for use in the FirstUp platform in support of programs and other initiatives
• Develop, curate and/or resize imagery for the Abbott blood donation campaign and manage assets used for the 18 internal university champions
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience working within an internal or external creative agency.
• Bachelor s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Production, or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating the ability to concept and execute ideas.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• High level of proficiency in social media marketings and website graphics support.
• Able to integrate the ideas through all mediums.
• Intermediate to Expert experience with Mac iOS environment, Adobe Creative Suite software, and Microsoft Office 365 software.
