Title: Project Support - Engineering

Location: Scarborough, Maine

Duration: 2 Months (Summer program)

100% Onsite

Responsibilities

• Lean methodology: Drive work process improvements
• Facilities processes: Train, run automation, and work hands-on
• Training materials: Create and revise technical documents
• Technician retraining: Retrain staff on new/revised SOPs and PMSOPs
• Policy adherence: Motivate production to meet daily demand
• Product guidance: Provide support for non-conformance or out-of-specification conditions
• Communication: Deliver effective pass downs for Engineering, Maintenance, and Production
• Troubleshooting: Support and escalate findings to decision makers
• Process improvements: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop solutions
• Team participation: Ensure continual improvement, safety, and compliance
• Operations compliance: Execute work per Operations and Quality procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Biochemical, or Biomedical Engineering
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and train new hires

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environments
• Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices
• Experience in manufacturing (Production, Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance)
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and techniques
