Title: R&D Engineer
Location: Plymouth, MN
Duration: 12 Month
Main Purpose of Role
Support efforts to contract out key Abbott Electrophysiology components to third-party manufacturers and provide sustaining engineering for catheter products.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct design analysis to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate design and ensure project completion.
- Provide sustaining engineering for catheter products.
- Support third-party manufacturing transfer activities.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
Experience
- 2–3 years minimum

- Background in medical device manufacturing, product development, and cross-functional collaboration
