Title: R&D Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN

Duration: 12 Month

Main Purpose of Role

Support efforts to contract out key Abbott Electrophysiology components to third-party manufacturers and provide sustaining engineering for catheter products.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct design analysis to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate design and ensure project completion.
•  Provide sustaining engineering for catheter products.
•  Support third-party manufacturing transfer activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years)

Experience

• 2–3 years minimum

• Background in medical device manufacturing, product development, and cross-functional collaboration
