Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst supports planning, inventory management, and performance tracking by analyzing data and generating insights. This role works closely with the Supply Chain Manager to improve efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and enhance overall supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- The Supply Chain Analyst is to work with Supply Chain Manager in the development, creation and maintenance of supply chain reports and analysis to achieve optimal planning, scheduling, inventory levels, inventory turns, and service levels.
- Extract and analyze data out of SAP, Power BI, and MES. Use MS Excel and other statistical tools to evaluate and report on trends. Provide detailed data analysis as requested
- Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and implement.
- Regular monitoring of inventory, attainment, accuracy, and PPV to LBE goals
- Optimize the use of system
- Lead activity to clean up master data
- Ensure MRP is running accurately and captures all demand
- Identify cost saving opportunities for both direct and indirect materials
- Review proposed build plans:
- Compare to inventory and capacity availability.
- Analyze volume, sourcing, and mix variances.
- Run alternate scenarios as needed
- Analyze and set optimal inventory by:
- Reviewing and proposing updated safety stocks
- Reviewing and optimizing supply chain flow for all subcontracting processes
- Reviewing and cleaning SAP master data for purchased parts
- Deep dive into Service Center Inventory. Working with Accessories and Service Center
- Manage and communicate inventory exposure for end-of-life components.
- Run scenarios for end-of-life plans
- Monitor end of life inventory to ensure we are tracking to goals
- Work with Finance to reserve materials and identify slow moving parts
- Manage OTIF reports and report cards
- Run weekly OTIF report
- Create monthly OTIF report cards for suppliers
- Make recommendations for improving OTIF metrics and results
- Support the development of Power BI capabilities, including business intelligence tools, concepts, and data
Required Skills:
- Prefer 1-2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
