The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator to support the Marketing and Creative teams for Lingo, Abbott’s rapidly growing consumer biowearables division. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing operations processes, including vendor onboarding, purchase order creation, contract administration and invoice management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will serve as a key operational partner, helping the marketing team efficiently engage external agencies, freelancers, production partners, and other vendors while ensuring compliance with Abbott procurement and financial policies. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to marketing operations, agency management, finance processes, and cross-functional collaboration within one of Abbott's fastest-growing businesses.

Procurement and Payment Management:

• Process statements of work, contracts and related documentation for marketing and creative agencies, production partners and other vendors.
• Partner with procurement and Legal teams to facilitate contract reviews, approvals, and vendor onboarding.
• Create and submit purchase order requests and monitor PO status to ensure timely project execution.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation within Abbott systems.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and alignment with approved contracts and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Track payment status and help ensure external partners are paid according to agreed upon terms.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Creative, Finance, Procurement, Legal and Accounts Payable.
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal teams regarding procurement and payment-related inquiries.
• Help ensure operational activities are completed accurately and on schedule to support key business priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, finance, operations, project coordination, or a related administrative role.
• Experience working with purchase orders, invoices, contracts, or budget tracking.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
