Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Job Summary

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for performing inspections and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role supports quality compliance and ensures products meet regulatory and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections and testing according to documented procedures.
• Record inspection and test data accurately as per written instructions.
• Recommend improvements to policies and procedures when applicable.
• Document non-conforming materials in the Non-Conforming Material Review system.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO 13485, company policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other company initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in Quality Inspection or related field.
• Previous quality inspection experience required.
• Medical device component inspection experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Experience with:
• Optical measurement equipment
• Hand tools and gauges
• Pressure and force gauge testing
• Blueprint reading and inspection sampling techniques experience preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• ASQ CMI Certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Air-conditioned clean-room manufacturing environment.
• Requires gowning attire and hair/beard covers.

• Minor exposure to chemicals.
• Work may be performed at a desk or workstation.
