Title: Engineer - Degreed IV_SJM

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 6 Month + extension

Duties: The Manufacturing Engineer will support the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes for new and existing medical devices. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing automation and assembly processes, executing process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ), and ensuring all manufacturing documentation meets regulatory requirements. The role will partner cross functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations to support new product introductions. Additional responsibilities include conducting risk assessments (pFMEA), performing root cause analysis, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within regulated industries.
• Developing products from scratch, new product introduction (novel, no leverage of existing products)
• Medical Device experience

Key Skills:

• Must Have - Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis

• Manufacturing Process Optimization

Preferred Experience:

• Process validation experience supporting new product introductions
• Experience with Windchill and SolidWorks
• Background in implantable medical devices, specifically neuromodulation
• Familiarity with cGMP, ISO 13485, and FDA regulated environments
• Manufacturing experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.S. Engineering required)
• Master Degree (depends on experience)
