Title: Project Manager II

Location: Alameda, CA

Duration: 12 Month Assignment

Job Summary:

The Project Manager II manages and directs the activities and people associated with small to large-scale projects, with a focus on non-IT business applications and disciplines. This role is responsible for managing all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the full Project Life Cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct all phases of projects through the full Project Life Cycle
• Collaborate with project sponsors, business units, and users to define project scope and focus
• Develop and monitor project initiatives
• Implement project requirements, plans, processes, and tools
• Assign, guide, and monitor project staff
• Ensure successful project delivery within defined budgets and timelines
• Provide proactive project guidance and support through project completion
• Deliver tracking, reporting, and presentations to management and users

Operational & Manufacturing Focus:

• Partner with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure operational readiness
• Lead cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) project activities
• Drive pilot builds and coordinate validation activities
• Support ramp-to-volume manufacturing
• Manage and execute engineering change orders (ECOs)
• Oversee process updates, documentation changes, and cross-functional communication
• Collaborate with contract manufacturing partners to align schedules, quality expectations, process controls, readiness plans, and risk mitigation activities

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of project management experience
