Title: Product Manager
Location: Lake Forest, IL (100% Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Summary: Abbott's Infectious Disease Business is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our Strategy and Market Insights function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IVDR projects, conducting market research, and overseeing regular product and portfolio management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- IVDR Project Management: Lead and manage In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely execution.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Product/Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of products within the portfolio, including product development, launch, and post-market activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to drive project success and product adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in product management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostics industry. Experience with IVDR projects is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Knowledge: Understanding of IVDR regulations and market research methodologies. Familiarity with infectious disease diagnostics is a plus.
