Job Title: Trainer
Location: Alameda, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Training Administrator to join our Training Department in an administrative capacity. This role works closely with Training and HR teams to administer and document training activities within our Learning Management System (LMS). This position does not involve designing or developing training courses, but rather focuses on accurately managing training assignments, ensuring compliance, and supporting reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and document trainings within the LMS in collaboration with Training and HR teams.
- Review training requests/forms for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GDP requirements.
- Process training assignment forms, including identifying correct modules, assessing curriculum impacts, and coordinating approvals.
- Pull and analyze supporting reports (e.g., target audience, curriculum alignment, related roles).
- Support cross-functional managers with curriculum reviews and creation of new curricula.
- Generate and analyze LMS reports to determine data accuracy, inputs/outputs, and report quality metrics to site leadership.
- Provide troubleshooting support for training-related queries (e.g., understanding tiers of training requirements).
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to good documentation practices (GDP).
- Ensure timely responses to training assignment and update requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in Training (LMS administration) and/or Quality.
- Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, reporting, and formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn new online systems quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ISO train or other Learning Management Systems.
- Understanding of training plan structures (curriculum, modules, and courses).
- Experience supporting senior leaders and project management activities.
- Familiarity with quality systems and compliance documentation.
Work Environment:
- 100% onsite, office-based role (no remote option).
- Work is administrative, repetitive, and desk-based for extended periods.
