Job Summary

The Associate Scientist II will support clinical chemistry product testing within a laboratory environment, with a primary focus on new product stability studies. This role requires hands-on laboratory experience, execution of testing protocols, data analysis, and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects, and able to meet established project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory testing for clinical chemistry products and new product stability studies.
  • Execute laboratory test protocols accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate and troubleshoot In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) analyzers.
  • Collect, analyze, and process data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Required Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of laboratory experience in a scientific or related environment.
  • Experience working with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) analyzers.
  • Experience executing laboratory test protocols and procedures.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.

Required Skills

  • In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) analyzer experience.
  • Laboratory testing and protocol execution.
  • Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge.
  • Microsoft Excel data processing and analysis.
  • Strong time management and project execution capabilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with the Abbott Alinity Clinical Chemistry Analyzer.
  • Experience designing experiments and testing schemes.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical software and data analysis tools.
  • Previous experience supporting clinical chemistry product development or stability studies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
