Title: Lab Tech Sr. - 3rd Shift

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Duration: 3 Months

100% Onsite

Work time: 10pm to 6.30am PST

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Tech Sr. - 3rd Shift with a strong background in chemistry or a related field. The ideal candidate will have previous laboratory experience and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Correctly identify samples and verify the accuracy of sample sequences for each batch
• Process instrument data and generate accurate analytical reports
• Conduct first-level review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data according to assay SOPs
• Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for final certification
• Maintain proper Chain of Custody documentation for all batches
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and promptly escalate any challenges
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment for self and coworkers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience working in an analytical laboratory
• Ability to safely handle biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments
