QA Specialist/Tech

OVERVIEW

• Assure the quality of manufactured products and processes per Standard Operating Processes (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). 
• Maintain control of the product quality and the manufacturing process. 
• Perform tasks that involve sampling, visual inspections, and work area verification. 
• Determine if a product or component abides by the quality requisites already established.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Experience with automation equipment / process validation support. 
• Support the validation of high-volume automation equipment and processes. 
• Ensure suppliers perform and document the appropriate engineering approach to activities such as qualification and validation, and aid in these efforts, as appropriate. 
• Ensure manufacturing processes are validated as applicable and products meet quality requirements. 
• Provide technical assistance to engineering to support manufacturing efforts by implementing corrective and preventative actions. 
• Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve manufacturing processes. 
• Be responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in Biology, Physics, Mathematics or Science.
• Two-year degree with 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and technical work experience. May also require a license or certification in expertise.
• Basic knowledge of GMP and ISO 9000.
• Basic mathematics skills.
