Job Title: Senior Document Control Specialist

Location: 100 Abbott Park Road, North Chicago, IL 60064-3500

Duration: 6 Months

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Position Summary

The Senior Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting document control and quality system activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role involves working cross-functionally, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting change control processes in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams
  • Prepare, review, and maintain compliant documentation in accordance with quality system requirements
  • Support document control activities, including document updates, version control, and record management
  • Assist in change control processes by identifying needs and providing clear justifications for changes
  • Ensure adherence to site-level policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Promptly report any compliance concerns to management
  • Participate in project-related activities and contribute as a team member
  • Apply basic risk management principles to support quality and documentation processes

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality, document control, or a related field
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GMP, ISO) is a plus
