Title: Supply Chain Project Manager II

Location: Abbott Park, Illinois or Willis Tower 233 S. Wacker Dr.

Duration: 6+ Months

Onsite (ability for 1 work from home day per week)

About the role: Support the implementation of Abbott’s enterprise-wide SCS strategy within the Rapids, Molecular and Abbott Point of Care businesses.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sustainability and ESG, human rights, supply chain or procurement strategy development, implementation, and performance reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning), experience with Power BI and SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently and manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project and program management experience
  • Experience working collaboratively and building strong partnerships across teams
  • Flexible to work within a matrix organization; at ease within a fast paced, demanding, goal driven environment
  • Data Analytics

Attention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective program management for a range of Abbott’s internal SCS programs and tools
  • Support data collection, validation, and analysis for external disclosures (Global Sustainability report, ratings and rankings, and country-disclosures)
  • Support updates to the Supply Chain Sustainability (SCS) Power BI dashboard and excel-based tools for program accuracy, internal tracking and sustainability reporting
  • Support Due Diligence data analysis and integration throughout new vendor onboarding.
  • Support standardization of reporting (i.e., Modern Slavery Assessment Tool, and country-level reporting) by documenting the process and implementing process improvements.
  • Support development, transition and implementation of new contract management data tracking tool to collect contract data (i.e., contracts which include social governance language per 2030 Sustainability plan).
  • Identify or develop tools and resources as required.
  • Work across the supply chain sustainability team on emerging projects as identified.
