Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Scarborough, Maine
Duration: 2 Month's
100% Onsite
The Quality Control Technician performs laboratory testing and quality activities to ensure products meet company Quality System standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, CMDR). This role supports Lateral Flow, ELISA, and Molecular diagnostic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final release testing
- Troubleshoot technical and quality issues
- Review batch records and document results
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Follow GMP/GLP and safety procedures
- Support Quality Management System activities
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ year of laboratory and/or quality control experience
- Ability to follow GMP and GLP standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline
- 2+ years in regulated industry (medical device/diagnostics preferred)
- Experience with GMP, FDA, ISO regulations
- Hands-on experience with pipettes, pH meters, and ELISA assays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/MRP systems
Work Environment
Laboratory/manufacturing setting. Regular sitting and standing required. Quiet to moderate noise level.
