Test Technician

Title: Test Technician

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• This role will work on the Lab & Infrastructure services team, and have a primary focus on documentation, with a secondary focuses on equipment distribution, tracking, and some testing of product.
• They will be trained on our various documentation systems, including Infor EAM, WindChill, and SAP Ariba.
• An ideal candidate would be able to learn by example and ask the right questions, and then be able to execute with minimal oversight.
• Tasks will change daily as this is a service role, supporting the greater R&D organization. Job duties include :
• Placing orders (POs) via Ariba
• Getting the engineers' input and completing Request for Capital forms
• Generating pilot work order documentation
• Generating build protocol documentation and releasing via WindChill
• Shipping and customs forms documentation
• Equipment and Fixture calibration and PM work order documentation via Infor EAM
• Equipment and Fixture distribution and tracking
• Testing of the product using the ATE testers
• Product configuration management (FW/SW configuration and testing)

Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic assembly and test in the medical device industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 2 or more years of experience with electromechanical assemblies/electronic manufacturing, technical certifications, etc.
