Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Software Engineer III with strong expertise in front-end development, React/Angular frameworks, and Python. The ideal candidate will have experience in software impact assessment, Linux development tools, and Agile methodologies. This role will focus on developing, creating, and modifying applications, analysing user needs, and delivering optimized solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and design customized software solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize applications for client use with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Contribute to UI/UX design within assigned application areas.
- Collaborate on microservice development as part of a cross-functional team.
- Provide technical supervision and guidance to offshore developers when required.
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD) throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform integration, integration testing, and cybersecurity implementations for embedded software solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred) OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Minimum 4 years of front-end development experience.
- Hands-on experience with React and JavaScript.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux development environment tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama).
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Good understanding of front-end frameworks (React or Angular).
- Proficiency with at least one modern application development language (Java, C++, or C).
- Knowledge of integration, testing, and cybersecurity practices in software development.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
