Title: Material Handler

Location: Plymouth, MN (100% On-Site)

Duration: 10 Month

Shift: 1PM - 9:20PM

Position Summary

Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented procedures
• Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions
• Operate test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented
• Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system
• Participate in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians
• Collect data for First Article inspections
• Perform testing and inspection based on special test requests
• Recommend changes to policies and procedures and submit change requests as needed
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending of data
• May train other inspectors
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Material handling experience - Required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal systems quickly
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, move, and handle boxes or materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Requires regular standing, walking, bending, and material handling activities
