Title: Material Handler
Location: Plymouth, MN (100% On-Site)
Duration: 10 Month
Shift: 1PM - 9:20PM
Position Summary
Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented procedures
- Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions
- Operate test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented
- Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system
- Participate in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians
- Collect data for First Article inspections
- Perform testing and inspection based on special test requests
- Recommend changes to policies and procedures and submit change requests as needed
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending of data
- May train other inspectors
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Material handling experience - Required.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal systems quickly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, move, and handle boxes or materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Requires regular standing, walking, bending, and material handling activities
