Location: Plano, TX 75024

Duration: 12 Months | 100% Onsite

Position Overview

The Medical Device Tester III will be responsible for performing advanced testing and validation of medical devices and related systems in a regulated environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, Python development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product reliability, compliance, and performance.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• Expertise in Python development (minimum 5 years)
• Experience developing automation solutions using Appium and/or Selenium*
• Proven ability to work with diverse engineering and cross-functional teams
• Experience in regulated industries (medical, automotive, or defense)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience performing integration and automated testing
• Background in developing test plans, test cases, and test protocols
• Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Experience with electromechanical or implantable medical devices
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in highly regulated environments

* Expertise in either Python or Appium/Selenium is required; proficiency in both is a plus.
