Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Analyst IV to join our dynamic finance team. This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis, monthly close activities, and providing critical financial support to Global Marketing and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and experience working in large, complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and key financial metrics (Plans, LBE, LRP).
- Support and maintain financial planning calendars and planning processes.
- Develop and maintain tools/templates for financial consolidation and reporting.
- Manage and report on monthly financial performance metrics including sales, expenses, cash conversion cycle (CCC), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Provide financial support to Global Marketing, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform month-end close activities such as journal entries and revenue reconciliations.
- Analyze daily and weekly sales performance and forecasts.
- Maintain the financial scorecard and support cross-functional and cross-business financial analysis.
- Perform ad hoc financial modeling and data analysis for senior leadership.
- Liaise with corporate and divisional finance teams, including VP-level stakeholders.
- Day-to-day responsibilities will include month-end close, consolidation, and financial submission related to the PFN (Products, Functions, and New Ventures) side of the business.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in large, global corporations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, modeling).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial planning principles.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to collaborate across functions and geographies.
- Systematic thinker with high attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
- Prior experience in Global Marketing Finance.
- Background in manufacturing finance is a plus.
- Recent experience at a Fortune 500 company is highly desirable.
- Candidates from a purely banking background may not be a fit for this role.
