R&D Technician II

Title: R&D Technician II

Location: Plymouth, MN

Duration: 12 Month

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various tests on medical devices (heart catheters) using equipment like callipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, Force Gages, Cognex, LabView, and hand tools.
• Follow test procedures precisely.
• Record data accurately and maintain good documentation practices.
• Communicate clearly with engineers regarding issues and solutions.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• (85% Lab / 15% Desk)

Required Experience & Skills:

• Experience in medical device testing or product building preferred.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education:

• Some post-high school education preferred.
• BS in Engineering is considered overqualified.
• Medical device experience plus hands-on skills ideal.
