Title: Power Apps Developer I

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of software development concepts and application design.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data management concepts.
  • Exposure to SQL, Power FX, JavaScript, or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Power Apps solutions.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of Power Automate workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application and workflow issues under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Help document business processes, system designs, and technical solutions.
  • Perform testing and validation of applications and workflows prior to deployment.
  • Support ongoing enhancements to existing Power Platform solutions.
  • Learn and apply Power Platform governance, security, and development best practices.
  • Provide end-user support and training for developed solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives.

Education:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, MIS, or related technical discipline.
  • Senior-level college students expected to graduate within 12 months are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant internship, capstone project, coursework, or hands-on Power Platform experience may be considered in lieu of professional experience.

Qualifications:

  • Coursework, internship experience, or personal projects involving:
  • Microsoft Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • SQL databases
  • Business process automation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse is a plus.
  • Experience developing academic projects or proof-of-concept applications is desirable.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) certification is a plus but not required.
