Title: Production Artwork Technician

Location: 2900 Easton Square Place Columbus, OH 43219

Duration: 3+ months on W2

Shift Time: 8:30 AM -5:00 PM

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, compliant labeling artwork for nutrition products by integrating branding, FDA regulations, and packaging requirements. Support business objectives through expert design execution, technical accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and adapt product labels across packaging formats using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Translate content into functional layouts, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Implement design changes and support ad hoc artwork requests.
  • Ensure label compliance with Nutrition Science, Legal, Regulatory, and Packaging Engineering standards.
  • Verify print feasibility and quality across all labeling projects.
  • Act as SME for labeling innovation, materials, substrates, and print methods.
  • Maintain and improve labeling procedures, software, and databases.
  • Manage multiple labeling projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (designers, printers, translators).
  • Lead pre- and post-production meetings to ensure print accuracy and efficiency.
  • Track deliverables, maintain documentation, and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS/BFA in Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years in consumer packaging design, FDA-compliant labeling, and digital art production.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of color management, print production, and labeling regulations.
  • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint).
