Title: Associate I Payroll

Location: Abbott Park, Illinois

Duration: 1+ Month (Possibility to extend)

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor employee time and attendance records.
  • Review and correct time entries to ensure accuracy.
  • Help employees and managers with timekeeping questions or issues.
  • Work with HR and Payroll teams to process payroll data.
  • Run timekeeping reports for audits and management.
  • Support training on timekeeping tools and procedures.
  • Report any system issues or policy concerns.
  • Keep employee data confidential at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or HR support.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos, ADP, Workday, or SAP).
  • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday.
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws.
  • Experience in a large or multi-site company.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
