Associate Scientist II

Our Abbott Park, Illinois location currently has an opportunity for an Associate Scientist II. The Associate Scientist II will be supporting change control related to master data and distribution data for materials distributed from the Lake County Warehouse to affiliates and customers.

Title: Associate Scientist II

Location: Abbott Park, Illinois

Duration: 5 Months

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Design experiments and testing schemes, analyze data, write protocols and reports and present results to a cross-functional team.
• Analyze experimental data and interpret results to support research and development objectives.
• Prepare detailed protocols, technical reports, and presentations for cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines using effective project management strategies.

• Good communications skills to be able to communicate problems professionally with little oversight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field.
• 2+ years relevant experience with 1+ year of experience in alignment with document change control.
• Project Management skills to effectively manage multiple assignments with varying dues dates.
• Formalized documents change control experience to be able to use procedures for guidance.
• Computer aptitude to be able to learn and work with many differences company specific systems and a general aptitude with Microsoft programs like Excel, Word formatting and troubleshooting, Adobe, etc.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits a plus. Familiar with process and test method validations.
