QA Specialist I

Title: QA Specialist I

Location: Abbott Park, Illinois

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Assures the quality of manufactured products and processes per standard operating processes(SOP'S) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Worker will be performing environmental monitoring, water testing, and micro testing (bioburden) of samples received.
• There will be weekend work involved. Our team has a rotation for coverage that they will join once certified. Candidates need to be open to working weekends.
• 1 year/ entry level experience. Preferred Experience: Science/ Microbiology background
• Key Skills: Quick learner, collaborative, detail-oriented, someone willing to learn and take on new tasks, good communication skills.
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a science or closely related discipline or relevant equivalent experience. High School Diploma requirement.
