The Role

The Service Delivery Coordinator supports and coordinates telecommunications service delivery activities, acting as the operational link between delivery officers, engineers, suppliers, and the Service Delivery Manager.

This role is a 12 month fixed term opportunity to cover a secondment in the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end service delivery activities for new fibre and network services.
  • Assign provisioning tasks, monitor progress, and escalate issues and risks to Service Delivery Manager and/or technical SME’s.
  • Maintain internal data across network inventory and project systems.
  • Prepare documentation including handover packs and status reports.
  • Track dependencies (civils works, fibre builds, vendor tasks, customer readiness etc.) and ensure they are sequenced correctly.
  • Liaise with customers and other external stakeholders to ensure delivery is streamlined.
  • Ensure all delivery data is up to date across Jira/Confluence, network inventory tools, and shared drives.
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery processes.

 

Expertise, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

-         Experience in coordination or project support roles (Telco/ICT preferred).

-         Strong documentation and data management skills.

-         Excellent communication and organisational skills.

-         Proficiency with Office tools and workflow systems.

-         Australian Citizenship.

 

Desirable:

-         Experience in fibre network deployment or telecommunications.

-         Knowledge of fibre splicing, network testing, or DWDM.

-         Jira experience.

-         Relevant diploma/degree.
