To be appreciated and valued by your company can manifest itself in a variety of different ways, dependent on the needs of the employee and the type of company.

Monetary incentives and rewards such a pay raises or promotions, may incite a feeling of value in the employee. Others may feel valued by being offered flexible hours or by simply being told that they are doing a great job from their manager or team.

Regardless of its form, the unparalleled benefits for a companies’ productivity, culture, creativity, and innovation, as a result of them valuing their employees, is both enormous and undeniable.

Company benefits from employees feeling valued:

Employee recognition increases individual productivity: If an employee is recognised for their work, they’ll be more invested in their work, and more likely to put in the extra effort. A happy employee is a productive employee!

Recognition increases team productivity: Positive reinforcement helps employees gain confidence, and as a result, a more positive work environment is created.

Breeds more loyal employees: When employees feel valued and recognised for their hard work, you’ll see more loyal company employees as a result.
