About the Role

Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced 'Environmental Advisor' to join our national Projects teams across WA and Queensland. This role will require you to work on FIFO/ DIDO, as per required rosters on the projects including 2:1 roster. 


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate support and advice regarding environmental aspects, risks, and requirements under state legislation.
  • Undergo audits and inspections to assess environmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Offer expert knowledge, support, and skills to facilitate risk control and foster a positive environmental culture within the project.
  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy of planning and forecasting for project delivery, and input data for reporting.
  • Offer advice and support to key internal stakeholders regarding environmental risk management measures.
  • Manage project environmental management activities in compliance with the requirements of relevant state planning and environmental agencies and bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with the Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP) and project approvals.
  • Review Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, Works Permits, and SWMS/ JSAs for compliance with the CEMP and legislative requirements.

About You:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • A current and valid ‘C’ class driver’s license.
  • Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Science or Environmental related discipline.
  • Certified Professional of Erosion and Sediment Control preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in an Environmental Advisory role, preferably within civil construction in a site environmental capacity.
  • Strong Knowledge of ISO 14001 EMS Standards and Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in control implementation and documentation to comply with environmental conditions.
