The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified HD Fitter to join our team as a Product Support Advisor for Excavator. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Working an 8/6 roster, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet while keeping an impeccable safety record.

Main responsibilities include:

• Organising and providing feedback on any reliability related issues or concerns regarding the large fleet of Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) mining equipment onsite
• Providing assistance to Service Personnel and Parts and Service Advisors as required, helping with parts and technical concerns
• Identify areas for improvement and work with the customer to address any shortcomings
• Escalate all issues to relevant teams and within a timely manner
• At all times maintain an open communication and good working relationship with customers, peers and other departments

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant Diesel Mechanic trade qualifications
• Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight timeframes
• Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded
• Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships
• Safety focus and abide by site safety processes
